Extremely reliable brand; gentle and incredibly quiet system

I have been working as a piercer for 27 years, 15 of which with the STUDEX® brand. I have never had a quality problem with the jewelery and, having tried others, I find it an extremely reliable brand. I really like all of their devices, but what I particularly like about their latest device, STUDEX® System75, is that it is not only gentle, but incredibly quiet, which is a huge advantage when piercing children’s ears. It also allows me to place the earring very accurately.

Nothing in common with guns

In our studios, we like to use STUDEX System75™ especially for children. This system has nothing in common with the old guns – except perhaps the shape, as it is pressed by hand and pierces manually. For earlobes, I don’t see any advantages for piercing with a needle. Ear piercing for children is an important segment for us. Our specialty is a magic show for children aged 4 – 12, in which we playfully insert the earrings into the ear. We are very successful with this: parents sometimes come to us from far and wide with their children. The most popular earring motifs are the STUDEX flowers and unicorns. We are seeing demand for second ear piercings in the earlobe from the age of 7.

Preferred method for children

For several years now, I have also been using the STUDEX® system. This is particularly good for smaller children, because it has a much lower impact than needle piercing. Children always walk out the door happy with a diploma and aftercare that comes with it.

Due to the hygienic way we use STUDEX, the risk of inflammation is virtually nil. The wide assortment makes the offer for customers these days enormously varied.

This way of getting earrings set is completely safe in the earlobe and definitely recommended to others!

Fast and pain-free for earlobes

I really like STUDEX» System75™ and use it regularly. I’ve been working with STUDEX systems since the mid-2000s, so for almost 20 years. I appreciate that their systems are hygienic, easy to use, reasonably priced, and offer a large selection of jewelry. We use it on the soft, cartilage-free parts of the ear. Customers are also pleasantly surprised at how fast and pain-free the ear piercing is with STUDEX devices.

Nice selection of sterile piercing earrings

We have 6 locations where we use the STUDEX® ear piercings and aftercare. We use them because you can order nice and trendy earrings, and there is enough choice for the customer, but mainly because they are sterile packed per piece. That is, of course, the most important aspect for us as a tattoo and piercing shop. Customers react very well to the piercing of the earrings, fast and not very painful, extremely suitable for children!

I have been working with the STUDEX» brand for about 20 years. What I like most about STUDEX is that they constantly deliver top-quality products.

All their earrings and ear piercings are top quality and do not tarnish, wear out or discolour. When it comes to the features of STUDEX instruments, both my customers and I appreciate their durability and reliability. We use the STUDEX devices for ear piercing, primarily in the part of the ear that has no cartilage. It’s a fantastic system that ensures a safe, quick and comfortable experience for our clients.

We use STUDEX» System75m for lobe piercings, usually for children and adolescents aged 4 – 14.

Some parents may have heard that piercing with a hollow needle is «better,» but this is nonsense when it comes to the earlobe. In fact, the STUDEX instrument is very well suited for this. The piercing earring is sterile and its tip is sharp. Due to the slightly lower time and effort involved, we offer piercing with this system at a lower price.

Especially for children and teenagers, it is an advantage that the piercing earrings of the STUDEX system make holes that are just right for their typical follow-up earrings, whereas piercing with a hollow needle usually leaves somewhat larger holes. We use the hollow needle for cartilage piercings.

In our piercing studio, we prefer to use STUDEX» System75m for lobe piercings. Unlike traditional spring-pressure systems, this instrument is far more pain-free and gentle. For lobe piercings, our customers can choose between piercing with a needle or an instrument. Most opt for the instrument, because it is both gentle and inexpensive. For children (aged 6 and over), we use STUDEX System75 exclusively, as a needle often scares them. Of course, we also use this system for 2nd or 3rd lobe piercings for teenagers and older. Ear piercings can be corrected at any age, and we also use STUDEX System75 for this.
